Refund Policy

At More Baby Food, our products are handmade, frozen and perishable. Because of the nature of our food, we are unable to accept returns of products once they have been delivered.

This policy does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable consumer laws.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Please check your order carefully before completing your purchase, including your selected products and delivery address.

Once an order has been prepared and dispatched, we are unable to accept cancellations or returns of frozen food due to food safety and cold-chain requirements.

Incorrect Delivery Address

Please take care when entering your delivery address at checkout. If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and this results in your order being unable to be delivered, additional delivery costs may apply. As our products are perishable, we may not be able to resend or refund an order where the delivery issue was caused by incorrect information provided by the customer. This does not affect your rights where the delivery issue was caused by More Baby Food.

If Something Is Wrong With Your Order

We take great care when preparing and packing your order. However, if your order arrives damaged, thawed, spoiled, or you receive the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible.

For frozen or perishable products, we ask that you contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the packaging and affected products, where possible

The 24-hour timeframe helps us investigate what happened while the delivery and condition of the food can still be assessed. It does not limit any rights you may have under New Zealand consumer law.

Please do not return frozen food unless we specifically ask you to. If we need the product returned, we will arrange this with you.

Damaged, Thawed or Spoiled Products

If your food arrives damaged, has thawed, or is otherwise not of acceptable quality, please contact us promptly. We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, provide a remedy in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

Where the issue affects only part of your order, the remedy may relate to the affected products. If the entire order is affected, we will assess the order as a whole.

Incorrect Products

If we have sent you an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will work with you to arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include sending the correct product or providing a refund for the incorrect product, depending on the circumstances.

Delivery Issues

Our frozen products are carefully packed before leaving our kitchen. Once your order has been delivered, please transfer the food to your freezer as soon as possible.

If an order is unable to be delivered because of an incorrect address, inaccessible property, or other circumstances outside our control, please contact us as soon as possible. We will assess the situation individually, taking into account the perishable nature of our products.

This does not affect your rights where More Baby Food is responsible for the delivery issue.

Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be made to the original payment method used for the purchase. The time it takes for a refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, replacement or other remedy and are unsure what to do, please contact us at enquiries@morebabyfood.co.nz and we will be happy to help.
